If it’s meant to be, it’ll be: AI, Restructuring and Insolvency

In preceding articles, we have discussed incidents that give rise to corporate distress, the various players in the insolvency process, the challenges that parties in the process face and the need for timely action before and if court action is elected over restructuring.
Technology is now part of our lives: any business that has tried to stave this off has faced dire consequences. Printing and publishing houses were adversely affected by the uptake of e-books, e-readers and other tech driven devices intended to provide on-the-go convenience to readers. The same effect was witnessed at the height of COVID in the education sector when e-learning was at its height and will probably continue to make education institutions (and other businesses) rethink their models. Technology continues to grow and will invariably render many functions obsolete.
