The Trustees (Perpetual Succession) Amendment Bill 2021 was signed into law on 7 December 2021 by His Excellency the President and gazetted through a special issue of the Kenya Gazette Supplement number 229 on 9 December 2021 and subsequently came into force on 23 December 2021, as such 23 December, 2021 is the commencement date of the Trustees (Perpetual Succession) Amendment Act 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the “Amendment Act”).
